Research Data Management (RDM) is increasingly recognized as a fundamental element of modern research. In collaborative research environments, fostering a culture of good data practices is essential for effective data curation, sharing, and reuse. This webinar will offer an overview of key components of research data management, including an introduction to practical resources for creating Data Management Plans.
In the second part of the webinar, we will explore the depositar, a research data repository that has been serving the research community since 2018. With over 2,500 datasets hosted at the service, the depositar supports RDM, enables collaborative research, and facilitates FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) data principles. Whether you are an experienced researcher or new to data management, we aim to provide valuable information that will make managing your research data more efficient and effective.
The depositar is a research data repository developed and supported by the Institute of Information Science and the Research Center for Information Technology Innovation at Academia Sinica. The project is supported, in part, by grants from the National Science and Technology Council. More information about these topics can be found at the “the basics of research data management” dataset (https://data.depositar.io/organization/rdm-basics) and at the Research Data Management Hub (https://rdm.depositar.io).
